FAQ

Is therapy right for me?

I believe that almost anyone can benefit from therapy. All that’s required is a desire for growth and a commitment to put in the work to reach your goals!

            Are we a good fit?

This is an excellent question! Studies show that a good client/therapist relationship is one of the most important factors for client progress. In the end, only you can answer this question, but a few things to ask yourself in the first few sessions:

·      Do I feel safe with my therapist?

·      Can I be open/honest with my therapist?

·      Can I trust my therapist?

·      Do I feel heard and seen by my therapist?

If for any reason you feel that we aren’t a good fit, please tell me! Your growth and care are my first priority, and I will gladly provide referrals to clinicians who may better serve your needs.

What should I expect in my first session?

Our first session is a chance for us to get to know one another a bit. We’ll discuss logistics (like scheduling) and go over some paperwork together. The bulk of our first session will be spent talking about your hopes for therapy, going over some of your history, and sharing about what brought you to therapy in the first place

I’m ready to schedule a session. What do I do?

I’m so excited that you want to take this step! If you’re ready to schedule, simply visit my contact page and fill out your information. I’ll connect with you in the next 24 hours to answer any questions you have and set up an appointment.

Was I able to answer all of your questions?

If not, feel free to get in touch with me and we can go over any other questions you might have.
